Brent T. Slosky

Brent’s practice emphasizes the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate finance and general corporate contracting and oversight matters.  For nearly 25 years, he has provided counsel on the structuring and raising of private and public capital, debt financings, credit facilities, public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, employment matters, real estate transactions, stock option issues, securities law compliance and other general corporate operational, contractual and governance matters for early-stage private through seasoned public companies.

 

Prior to co-founding BISLAW, Brent ran his own firm beginning in 2003.  Prior to that, he was a partner at Hogan Lovells; a world-wide firm based in Washington, D.C., practicing in the firm's Corporate Securities/Venture Capital Group in their Denver office and a shareholder at Brownstein Hyatt Farber & Schreck, LLP.    In addition, he has acted as Managing Partner in numerous private venture and oil and gas partnerships assisting with structuring corporate entities, acquisition of properties, fundraising and ongoing operations.  He also serves as CEO of several start-up biotech companies. 

 

Brent is a very active member of our community having served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Food Bank of the Rockies, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, the ADL, the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization Adult Committee, Crestmoor Community Association and the Denver Jewish Day School and presently, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Ricks Center at Denver University.  

 

Brent recently gave up his addiction for golf and replaced it with tennis and is actually spending time with his beautiful wife and two children.
