Susan B. Schneider

Susan Schneider has 30 years of legal experience.  Her practice is concentrated predominately in the general corporate, securities and finance areas.  Her list of former representative clients includes Fruit of the Loom, Inc., McDonald’s Corporation and Del Monte Corporation, as well as small and mid-sized entrepreneurial businesses.  Susan’s transactional experience encompasses all types of domestic and foreign private and public debt and equity financing, including private placements, term and revolving bank financing, sale of public notes and debentures, industrial revenue bonds/credit enhancement, and aircraft financing.  Susan also has extensive experience in structured finance, acquisitions and mergers, and general corporate guidance and governance.

 

Susan is a former partner at Katten, Muchin & Zavis of Chicago, where she spent much of her time representing clients in various national and trans-national financing/corporate transactions.  After leaving Katten, Muchin, she worked directly for Fruit of the Loom, Inc. (one of her primary clients at the firm) for 18 months.  Prior to her association with Katten, Muchin, Susan was a partner at Greenberger, Krauss & Jacobs, a mid-size Chicago law firm specializing in corporate and real estate transactions.

 

Susan presently is a member of BISLAW. Prior to joining BISLAW, Susan worked at Foster, Graham, Milstein & Calisher, LLP, where she was in charge of the corporate and finance department.

 

Susan is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law, where she was a Note Editor on the Law Review.  She has a B.A. degree from the Newhouse School of Journalism at Syracuse University.
