David began his legal career in private practice at Ballard Spahr Andrews and Ingersoll and Brownstein Hyatt Farber and Schreck. His practice was predominately in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.

After eight years of private practice, David was a co-founder and general counsel of WildBlue Communications, a broadband by satellite internet service provider. While at WildBlue, David oversaw the legal and human resources functions. 

During his 11 year tenure at WildBlue, the Company raised $950 million in equity and debt financing, and launched a successful service in 48 states. WildBlue was sold in December, 2009 at which time David re-entered private practice and co-founded BISLAW. His practice now centers on advising start-up companies as they move from inception to full-scale operations.
